Piotr Mirga. Mr Mirga appeared with licence holder Joshua Goodwin. The Council placed a reprimand on Mr Mirga’s record and gave him words of guidance for the future.

Boxer Kristaps Zulgis appeared before the Council represented by Trainer Nick Manners and was interviewed extensively regarding his career. The Council decided that he was okay to continue subject to the following condition:

REGULATION 5.13 & 25

Boxer Charlotte Powell and Trainer Wayne Smith appeared before the Council unrepresented. Matter against Mr Smith was not proven. The matter against Ms Powell was proven and she was reprimanded and fined.

It is with great sadness that the Former British, European, Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion and World Championship contender Joe Bugner has passed away at his care home in Brisbane, Australia.

The British Boxing Board of Control passes on its condolences to Joe’s family.
