REGULATION 4.12, 5.15 & 25

Sahir Iqbal / Anthony Crolla. Boxer Sahir Iqbal and Manager Anthony Crolla appeared before the Council. Matter against Mr Crolla was not proven. The matter against Mr Iqbal was proven and he was reprimanded and fined.

Purse bids are called for the above contest to be submitted in accordance with the terms as set out below. Contest to take place by the END OF NOVEMBER 2025.

Promoters and Matchmakers are invited to submit purse bids in short terms for the above contest, unless voluntary agreement is reached beforehand, which are to be submitted by hand to the next Midlands Area Meeting by 12.00pm. on Sunday, 20th July 2025. Please contact the Midlands Area Secretary to arrange submittance of Purse bids.

Bids should be submitted on Boxer/Promoter Agreement Form No. 35(a) (as amended specifically for the purpose of purse offers), signed by the bidding Promoter or Matchmaker and completed in full. All bids must be received before the deadline in individual sealed envelopes clearly marked on the outside “PO then the initials of the Boxers concerned”. FAXED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

DAVID NELSON. Mr Nelson appeared before the Council alone. The Council placed a reprimand on Mr Nelson’s Promoter’s file and fined him.

REGULATION 29

ROBERT LLOYD-TAYLOR. Mr Lloyd-Taylor appeared alone. The Council decided that no further action was required, however, did give advice.

LEWIS VAN POETSCH. Mr Van Poetsch appeared before the Council alone. The Council advised that Mr Van Poetsch was ok to continue with his Referee career at this time.
