Regulation 4.9 & 5.10

Boxer Sam Kirk appeared before the Council represented by Manager Jason Cunningham. The Council decided that he was okay to continue subject to the following condition:

Regulation 4.12(b), 5.15 & 25

Manager/Trainer/Second Lee Beard and Boxer Marvin Tomlinson appeared before the Council unrepresented. The Council then deliberated and decided that the matter against Mr Tomlinson was not proven. The matter against Mr Beard was proven and he was reprimanded and given words of guidance.

Regulation 5.15 & 25

Boxer Connor Taylor and Trainer Anthony Farnell tendered an apology. The Council decided that both Mr Farnell and Mr Taylor should be given words of guidance.

Boxer William Birchill tendered an apology. The Council decided that the matter against William Birchill was proven and directed that he should be reprimanded and given words of guidance.

Purse bids are called for the above contests to be submitted in accordance with the terms as set out below. Contest to take place by the END OF MAY 2026.

Promoters and Matchmakers are invited to submit purse bids in short terms for the above contest, unless voluntary agreement is reached beforehand, which are to be submitted by hand to the next Midlands Area Meeting by 12.00pm. on Sunday, 15th March 2026. Please contact the Midlands Area Secretary to arrange submittance of Purse bids.

Bids should be submitted on Boxer/Promoter Agreement Form No. 35(a) (as amended specifically for the purpose of purse offers), signed by the bidding Promoter or Matchmaker and completed in full. All bids must be received before the deadline in individual sealed envelopes clearly marked on the outside “PO then the initials of the Boxers concerned”. FAXED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
